Ski Passes
La Clusaz is a typically French ski resort, a well kept secret with the French and Swiss, so the lift passes are significantly cheaper than the larger resorts.
Lift passes for La Clusaz and the other Aravis ski stations (Manigod, Le Grand Bornand and St Jean de Sixt ) can be arranged in advance by your snowchalet hosts or booked online www.skipasslaclusaz.com . The Aravis ski pass provides access to over 220km of pistes, including free bus travel between all the ski stations.
The La Clusaz and Aravis ski areas officially open in early to mid December and continue until the end of April. The ski lifts are free for children under 5 years of age and adults over 75, on presentation of identification with date of birth and photo to the ski pass cashier at the central ski office.
Passes can be brought on a half day, or any nmber of days from 1-14.
If you would like us to arrange your lift passes please let us know what type of pass you would like and the duration you will need it for. You will then need to supply a photograph for each pass of 3 days+. This can be sent directly to the chalet or emailed in a 'jpg' format (150 pixels wide) at least 2 weeks before your first day of skiing. If you are on a Sat-sat 7 night stay you may only need a 6 day pass.
If you book online ski passes, you will need to collect them in person
from the ski pass office after 4pm the evening before the start date
of the pass.
