Travel options

We leave the choice of how you travel to La Clusaz up to you. However included in our standard catered or 'exclusive use' booking rates are FREE return transfers to and from Geneva airport. This year we will also be offering the option of transfers to and from Chambery for midweek breaks in March and April. Just email us before you book your flights.

Planes

Geneva is the most convenient airport for La Clusaz, located just over an hour away from our chalets. A wide range of airlines (BA and swissair), including many of the budget airlines (jet2, easyjet, bmi, flybe) fly into Geneva or Chambery (flyglobespan, flybe and jet2), providing plenty of choice for wherever you're based in the UK.

Trains

Annecy, is roughly 30 minutes from La Clusaz is the closest train station, to which TGV services arrive. There is a direct coach link to la Clusaz from Annecy. There is also the Snow Train service which stops in Chambery. We can pick you up from either station, if it is arranged in advance and does not coincide with any pre-arranged transfers.

Automobiles

Driving is probably a flexible option and the drive to La Clusaz is mostly on major roads to the village, making your journey as easy as possible. It takes roughly 8/9 hours with a few stops from Calais, and the motorways are pretty empty but do be prepared to pay the tolls.
There is ample parking close to both chalets. You may need snow chains though and please check that your tyres are adequate for winter conditions.

If you decide to drive, we may be able to give you a reduction on the total price of your holiday, as you will not be requiring our transfer or in-resort transport services. We will provide a directions and a map of how to get to our chalets a few weeks before you are due to stay with us.

Airport Transfers

We offer FREE transfers to/from Geneva on the understanding that our catered guests will try and arrange their flight times to coincide with our normal transfer times, so as not to disrupt other guests. We advise guests to try and book flights which or arrive at midday are early afternoon, and avoid early or late arrivals or departures. However we do make an exceptions, especially for our weekend guests who may be arriving after work on a late flight on a Thursday or Friday and returning late Monday. Just contact us before booking any flights so that we can co-ordinate transfers to coincide with any existing transfer arrangements.
If we cannot transfer you due to early, late or clashing flight times we will do our best to accommodate your plans, however a third party may need to transfer you, which may incur an extra charge.
